Florent Hacq

So I met Flo whilst working on a youth project last year. We got talking and he spoke about how he was looking to set up his own podcast celebrating people’s success!

After a little digging we found that Flo always wanted to be an entrepreneur after growing up seeing his dad love running his own business. So after finishing uni and a couple of jobs, he and a friend decided to set up their own e-commerce consulting company. Eventually getting to the point where the work was coming in by the bucket loads but so was the pressure.

Flo got to the point where he realised he wasn’t enjoying his work/life balance. Even though the things were on the up and business was rolling in, he found himself questioning his passion.

Flo’s journey is one focused on the importance of passion. Is it money, success or passion that counts when it comes to doing what we love? Is our society is focused on achievement rather than fulfilment?

And if so, is that a bad thing?

Flo is one of the happiest people I know and that might be down to the his outlook on life.

Have a listen and let us know what you think.
